Barbados Port Inc. is a member of: the American Association of Port Authorities, the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA), the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC), the Shipping Association of Barbados (SAB), and is an affiliate of the Caribbean Maritime Institute (CMI). These institutions have consistently recognized the  Port of Bridgetown with numerous awards over the years, including the accolade for being the top port in the Caribbean.
