The Home Delivery Service implemented at the Port of Bridgetown, is an all-inclusive service eliminating or significantly reducing the need for importers/consignees to spend time in Port.
Consignees with shipments at the Port are required to utilize the service, selecting either an Authorized Consolidator/ Freight forwarder OR an Authorized Trucker to clear any goods imported. These authorized clearing agents can manage all Customs and Port formalities, including payment of duties and charges and clearance of shipments.
Unless requested to be present at a Customs inspection, consignees will not be allowed to enter the Port.
The service will continue until further notice.
